The Dades Valley: an excursion not to be missed if you are in Ouarzazate! Leaving the latter, visitors will follow the N10 road for more than 150 kilometers before reaching the Dades Gorge, the arrival point of an indescribable visit! The first stop of tourists will be the palm grove of Skoura. The latter was developed during the 12th century by the civilization of the Almohads. To visit it, nothing is more fun than to go through it and let yourself be left by the curiosities of nature. Nearby, you will surely see Oued Skoura – the Skoura River – which irrigates all the neighboring flora as well as the Kasbahs of Ben Moro and Amerhidil which push you to move! The excursion continues through the valley of roses. The rose garden in El Kelaâ is one of the most important in the region. During the excursion, you will see multiple fortified kasbahs whose ocher color contrasts with the green flora. Feel free to visit some like Amerhidil really impressive! Approaching the village of Boumalne, the landscape will change abruptly to give way to the arid mountains. Visitors will gradually penetrate the Dades Gorge, whose rocks reach 300 meters in height! Once the end of the road is reached, the tourists will not hesitate to go down to admire the landscape and will be able to indulge in adventurous strolls in the gorges. For less hikers, restaurants and cafes will welcome you to recharge your batteries before heading back in the opposite direction.

From Ouarzazate, the Dades valley is a popular tourist route: the Dades is a wadi irregularly irrigating its valley: between the arid peaks and the desert landscapes that surround it, the valley takes on greenery thanks to the market gardening that it hosts. The Dades Valley is none other than the famous road of the thousand Kasbahs in Morocco and present between the Sarb and Sarbel high Atlas Mountains wadi Dadès.
